The hotel’s address is:
JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE
900 West Olympic Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90015 USA

The JW Marriott Hotel at LA Live does not provide shuttle service from the airport. To get to the hotel from LAX, there are four possible choices: a PrimeTime Shuttle or a Super Shuttle; the Flyaway Bus; a public bus; or a taxi.

Option #1: PrimeTime Shuttle or Super Shuttle

The PrimeTime Shuttle or Super Shuttle may be the easiest and simplest way to get to the hotel. Make a reservation before you leave home by following directions on their websites or phoning ahead. The cost is about $16-$20, one way.

For a 15% discount on any Super Shuttle, use the coupon code SWVAN when ordering! When the conference is over and you are returning to the airport, use the discount code RIDES.

Super Shuttle:
(800) BLUE-VAN (800 258-3826)

PrimeTime Shuttle:
(800) RED-VANS (800 733-8267)

Option #2: The Flyaway Bus

There is a “Flyaway Bus” available from LAX to various locations throughout Los Angeles. Passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green “FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans” signs. Each bus is marked with its service location; conference attendees should board the bus traveling to Union Station. The fee is $7.00, and you can pay with either cash or a debit card. It is a 35-50 minute ride depending on traffic.

From Union Station, you can take a taxi to the conference hotel at LA Live, or you can take the Metro Red Line to the Blue Line (7th Street/Metro Center) and then take the Blue Line to LA Live, or you can walk the 2.5 miles. One possible bus is the Metro Express Line 439, which leaves from Patsaouras Plaza/Union Station, Bus Bay 1 and will take you to Flower and Olympic for $1.25. The distance is 2.56 miles, and takes about 15 minutes.

Option #3: a public bus

A public bus runs from LAX to the L.A. Live area. From LAX, take the FREE Lot G Shuttle, which will take you to the Metro Green Line Aviation Station. Once at Aviation LAX Station, go to Bus Bay 3. There you can board the Metro Express Line 439 (DOWNTOWN LA-UNION STA). This bus will take you directly to 11th and Figueroa streets where L.A. Live is located. The bus costs $1.85, which you must have in cash, and takes about 1 hour 22 minutes. The bus departs once an hour on the weekends and more frequently on weekdays.

Option #4: a taxi

A taxi ride from LAX to the conference hotel would cost about $50, one way.

Metro transportation to the conference

The Los Angeles Metro (subway) system is generally clean, modern, and safe, but unfortunately its coverage is spotty. Both the Express Blue Line 439 and the 445 stop at the LA Live complex / Staples Center, a few blocks away from the conference hotel. However, the Metro does not connect all the way to LAX.
