The JW Marriott at L.A. Live

The IAJGS conference will be held at the brand new JW Marriott Hotel, part of the new L.A. LIVE convention center complex in downtown Los Angeles, located adjacent to the Staples Center, the Nokia Theater, and the Grammy Museum. The 879-room hotel opens February 2010, offering WiFi in all rooms and major amenities, including a rooftop outdoor pool, spa, and fitness center.

Reservations at the JW Marriott at LA Live are now open! RESERVE YOUR ROOM ONLINE HERE! You can also telephone Marriott reservations (1-800-228-9290 in the US) and make sure to identify yourself as a participant in the IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy. (The JGSLA is holding a large block of rooms for conference attendees.) Also make sure you request the JW Marriott at L.A. Live specifically, as there is also a different Marriott hotel located downtown. The conference rate is available for three days prior to and following the conference.

Restaurants in the complex include well-known Los Angeles eateries Trader Vic’s, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Katsuya, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, Rósa Mexicano, Lawry’s Carvery, and more.
The IAJGS conference will be one of the first major events held at L.A. LIVE, and will provide a once-in-a-lifetime genealogical journey of discovery.
