  1. Do you have a conference blog?

Yes! It is integrated with our conference website. You can see the latest blog posting linked from the bottom of the home page, and also linked at the very top of every page on the site. Links to RSS feeds of our content (in various languages) are available in the footer of every page on the site. Note that all conference blog entries are initially written and posted online in English and may not be immediately available in other languages.

  3. Do you have a conference Twitter account and/or an "official" conference hashtag?

Yes! Our Twitter account is @JGSLA2010 and the hashtag for conference tweets will be #IAJGS. This is also linked in the footer of every page of the site, in case you forget, along with the latest tweet from out account. We will only be writing Tweets in English, but please feel free to translate them and RT (re-tweet), if you'd like.

  4. Do you have a newsletter or mailing list, which I can subscribe to?

Coming soon! This is an conference announcements list, direct from the JGSLA, separate from the JewishGen conference discussion listthat will be launching later in 2010. And we strongly suggest that you add your e-mail to this list for up-to-the-minute conference news and announcements. We promise not to bombard you, but with our newsletter announcements we can email you photos, links and graphics that you can’t get through listserves or blogs. You’ll always be current with what’s going on with our conference and your information will never be shared with any other group.

  5. When can I subscribe to the LA2010 Conference online discussion group on JewishGen?

We anticipate the discussion group opening in January 2010. Watch this website and the JewishGen listserv for announcements.

  6. When will you publish the conference program and schedule, as well as details about the keynote speaker and banquet entertainment?

The conference program go live in early 2010, but prior to that time we will update this website with special speakers or programs that have been confirmed so you can learn more about all the excellent programming in store. We will also try to announce the SIG days/dates and any other special activities or theme-focused events so you can plan your schedule. Announcements will be updated every few weeks.
